Flash Resurrection Remix Nougat Custom ROM into Galaxy s5


Resurrection Remix is a custom ROM that derived from Lineage OS based on android 7 "nougat".
This ROM has ported from Lineage OS ( a new name for CyanogenMod ROM) in a way to support more android devices.

This ROM has many advantages over other ROMs (custom or official) such as Fast boot, slim, in addition to build-in and enabled Root access and customization options that manifests it over Lineage and other ROMs.

Important:

  • Before you try this custom ROM, you should make sure that your device has unlocked boot-loader and has Custom recovery installed, otherwise don't try this.
  • You should select suitable ROM and GApps files that are compatible with your device.
  • You should make backup for your data from internal memory into external Micro SDCard or to computer, also you can sync your personal information, contacts, and other into your account in google.



Requirements:



  1. Custom recovery 
  2. External MicroSDCard 8GB or more
  3. Resurrection Remix zip file From here 
  4. GApps zip file From here   ( you should select a suitable GApps one that's applicable to your CPU type and the version of Resurrection Remix ROM; For example in my case, the CPU IN my Galaxy s5 g-900v (Verizon) device is ARM, and the version of installed ROM is 7.1.x, so I downloaded GApps by selecting: ARM>7.1>Nano.) (however, you have a choice to select any one rather than Nano).
